Technology
Accolade systems use a very thin amorphous metallic ribbon as the heating element, spreading warmth across a broad surface instead of along a conventional round wire.
A broad, low-mass element
The recovered product literature describes a 25-micron metallic ribbon enclosed between insulating layers. Its low mass is designed to respond quickly when a room thermostat calls for heat.

Designed around the floor finish
The indoor mat was offered for tile, stone, vinyl, timber, laminate and carpet. The complete build-up varies by floor finish, subfloor and room type, so each project needs an appropriate specification.
